Our Take

A creamy, low-lather sulphate-free shampoo built on aloe vera and coconut oil. It cleanses the scalp without stripping natural oils — a balance that is genuinely hard to achieve, and one reason Swish has become a bestseller in the UK natural hair community. The citrus essential oil blend (lemon, orange, lemongrass, grapeseed) gives it a scent that feels energising on wash day. Gentle enough for weekly use; Afrocenchix recommends shampooing every 7–10 days. Protein-free. Works across all curl types but particularly suited to 3a–4c hair where moisture retention is the priority.
